Painting for Staycation

I'm planning a staycation this weekend.

Several activities are planned, but mainly painting, cooking, and biking. I won't technically be inside the whole weekend, the way a staycation implies, but I will be staying in Greensboro despite strong desires to travel. I hope my watercolors come out the way this digital art did when I layered blues, yellows, reds, and browns. 

Contentment on my own is essential to my happiness. I spend a lot of time curating what I let into my home and now is the time to organize and engage with the content. Sometimes my house feels like the most underutilized aspect of my life, with so much programmed onto screens, computers, phones, televisions, and radios. I have so many unread books, uncooked foods, and bare walls.
